Eric brings extensive experience spanning both US Government and private sector cybersecurity roles. He currently serves as a Lead Incident Responder at Salesforce, managing critical security incidents and response operations.
Eric's foundation in cybersecurity was built during nearly a decade with the FBI, where he began as a Digital Forensic Examiner in the St. Louis Field Office. In this role, he conducted forensic analysis for numerous high-profile investigations and developed deep expertise in digital evidence examination. His exceptional performance led to his selection as FBI Special Agent, where he was assigned to the FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force in Kansas City.
During his tenure in Kansas City, Eric led complex investigations spanning both National Security and Cyber Criminal matters. His investigative excellence is exemplified by his role as lead special agent on the APT 45 indictment of Rim Jong Hyok, a significant national security case.
Eric maintains professional credentials, holding nine SANS certifications including GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GCIA, and GEIR. He earned his Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University.
