Jonathan Reiter

Robert Lipovsky

Jonathan is a researcher and engineer with a focus on improving the posture of critical systems. By day, he's built expansive telemetry systems in Dragos' Community Defense Program and McAfee's Global Threat Intelligence systems. By night, he has presented at settings such as DEF CON and HOU SEC CON on sundry topics as threat hunting with open source intelligence and esoteric network protocols and software used exclusively within critical environments in the PRC. Most recently he instructed SLTT leadership of the State of Oregon how to run a tabletop exercise for an environment with probabilistic systems such as AI or ML enabled platforms. Before he wrote software for a living, Jonathan studied the industrial political economy of China as a graduate student at University of Washington. If you see Jonathan, ask him how his job hunt is going!
