Nick Carr is the Director of FireEye's Advanced Practices team focused on reverse engineering attacker tradecraft. Nick has a decade of front-line experience, including leading cyber espionage and digital crime investigations for Mandiant with a specialization in APT29, APT32, APT33, and FIN7 intrusions. Nick is a frequent blogger, conference speaker [DerbyCon, BlueHat, ShmooCon], and purveyor of spicy tweets (@itsreallynick). He's also the co-host of the reasonably popular "State Of The Hack" podcast & video series.

Prior to joining FireEye, Nick served as Chief of Technical Analysis and incident response team lead for DHS ICS-CERT. As a former TJHSST nerd, Lehigh University computer engineer, and Master's graduate from Naval Postgraduate School’s Cyber Operations program, Nick has spent his career in computer security, network analysis, and intelligence roles in the U.S. Government and private industry.
